Menold Bezler finds investor for insolvent Herold Installationsgesellschaft
As insolvency administrator of Herold Installationsgesellschaft mbH, based in Lauffen am Neckar, Menold Bezler lawyer Dr Sebastian Mielke has sold the business operations to Roland Hartmann from Lenningen with effect from 1 June 2024.
The plumbing and heating company Herold was founded in Heilbronn in 1911 and employs 27 people. The insolvency was the result of inadequately calculated major projects, cost burdens for the relocation of the company headquarters from Heilbronn to Lauffen and increased material and labour costs. The proceedings were opened on 1 June 2024. With the acquisition, building technology specialist Hartmann is securing the continued existence of the company and all jobs.
Menold Bezler supported the restructuring process with Dr Sebastian Mielke as insolvency administrator and advised on the legal aspects of the sale. The company was advised on the insolvency application by the law firm Grub Brugger from Stuttgart.
