Five new partner and counsel at Menold Bezler
Menold Bezler appoints four partners and one counsel in the areas of corporate law, audit, dispute resolution, construction and architectural law and M&A as of January 1, 2023. In corporate law, Franziska Gottwick has been appointed shareholder partner. She primarily advises family businesses, their shareholders and high net worth individuals. The focus here is on the structuring of corporate groups and the design of succession planning.
In the area of auditing/business consulting, Daniel Haug becomes a partner. In addition to auditing and preparing individual and consolidated financial statements, his work focuses in particular on business consulting in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and business valuation. He joined Menold Bezler in 2020 after many years at law firms with a similar consulting focus.
Dr. Maike Huneke becomes an associate partner in the Dispute Resolution practice area. She advises and represents clients in complex commercial disputes in and out of court. Her focus is on litigation in national and international liability disputes with reference to commercial and contract law as well as professional liability law.
Another associate partner will be Dr. Sven Ort, who specializes in construction and architectural law. His practice includes, in particular, contract drafting, legal advice during construction, project management law and litigation. He joined the firm in 2019 as a lateral hire.
M&A expert Friederike Frosch advises financial investors and strategists on corporate transactions in the midmarket and also has experience in distressed M&A. She has been appointed Counsel.
Franziska Gottwick, Dr. Maike Huneke and Friederike Frosch are undergoing the MB GROW internal talent development program, which has been in place since January 2022. In cooperation with Bucerius Executive Education in Hamburg, junior executives are supported on their way to partnership.
