Menold Bezler advises on reorganisation of temporary employment agency BERA

BERA GmbH, based in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, has applied to the Heilbronn Local Court for the opening of insolvency proceedings. The court ordered provisional self-administration on 10 January and appointed Dr Sebastian Mielke as provisional administrator.
Founded in 2002, BERA has 250 employees and provides personnel services at 9 locations in the Heilbronn-Franken and North Württemberg regions. The restructuring was triggered in part by a sharp decline in call-off orders from a major customer in the automotive sector. The company will remain fully operational. A temporary creditors' committee has been set up.
Dr Sebastian Mielke, as provisional administrator, is overseeing the self-administration in the interests of the creditors. Berlin-based lawyer Jörg Franzke is assisting the company as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO).
