Menold Bezler advises rezemo on the sale of its coffee business
Menold Bezler has advised rezemo GmbH from Filderstadt on the sale of its coffee business, including the trademark "rezemo," to Gliss Caffee GmbH, based in Cologne.
The two founders of rezemo, Stefan Zender and Julian Reitze, established their sustainable wooden coffee capsules as a well-known coffee brand in the hotel and office sector through the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen." Following the sale of the coffee business, the founders now plan to fully focus on sustainable packaging solutions under the "forewood" brand, which already serves as an alternative to plastic and aluminum in the food, cosmetics, and agricultural industries.
Gliss Caffee is a family business founded by Michael Gliss that roasts and sells coffee. The organic-certified company focuses on direct, fair imports and offers only its own roasts from a German organic roastery.
