Menold Bezler advises on insolvency proceedings of SPM Steuer

SPM Steuer GmbH & Co. KG has filed for insolvency. Yesterday, Stuttgart District Court ordered provisional insolvency administration and appointed Dr Sebastian Mielke as provisional insolvency administrator.

SPM has been manufacturing printing and embossing presses for more than 50 years. The company will continue to operate without restrictions for the time being. The wages of the 23 employees will be secured for three months by the insolvency substitute benefits of the Federal Employment Agency. In order to secure the future of the company, the provisional insolvency administrator, in consultation with the management, has immediately initiated an M&A process to identify potential investors.
