Klinikum Stuttgart takes over specialised clinics and MVZ with Menold Bezler
Menold Bezler advised Klinikum der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart gKAöR (Klinikum Stuttgart) on the takeover of Krankenhaus vom Roten Kreuz in Bad Cannstatt (RKK) and Sana Herzchirurgie Stuttgart (SHS). The RKK is a specialised clinic for pneumology, intensive care and respiratory medicine with 103 beds. SHS is one of the designated high-performance centres and specialists for cardiac medicine in Germany and has 66 beds. It was already a permanent cooperation partner of Klinikum Stuttgart in the joint certified heart centre and was located at its site in Katharinenhospital. The PNZ consists of a sleep medicine centre and a neurology practice.
Klinikum Stuttgart previously comprised Katharinenhospital, Krankenhaus Bad Cannstatt and the paediatric clinic Olgahospital. 8,500 employees treat around 90,000 inpatients and more than 600,000 outpatients every year.
Menold Bezler advised Klinikum Stuttgart in all phases of the transaction with an interdisciplinary team on the legal, tax and commercial aspects of the acquisition. The law firm already advised Klinikum Stuttgart on the acquisition of Sportklinik Stuttgart in 2023.
